Using street design to define public and private spaces and to help people find their way through the area easily, with planting to enhance spaces and highlight the changing seasons. |

Ensuring accessibility and ease of movement, with full consideration given to the needs of people with buggies, wheelchairs, mobility difficulties and visual impairments. |

Designing robust and attractive street furniture to complement the street scene (including benches, lighting, litter bins, cycle stands and bilingual signage) with care taken to avoid creating clutter and obstructions. |

| Further information Design work is in progress on the hard and soft landscaping. Quality materials will be selected to complement exiting buildings and the character of Neath. Public art, and opportunities for community involvement, will be considered where appropriate. |
